The Farmstead
Perfectly restored, with a total surface area of 1402 sq.m over three levels.

The original structure, dating from the 1700s, has been subject to careful restoration, using only traditional and natural materials such as stone, wood and iron, as well as recovering the old furniture.


Outside there are areas with exposed stone walls, rescued and complete with stone from the area, characterised by the long-lasting glaze used at the time. The roofing, which is newly built, has been done with natural wooden beams and planking, soaked in water and not solvent-based products, and with bioecological insulation which guarantees suitable energy efficiency. The roof tiles have been recovered from old buildings.

 

The floors are part hand-made recycled tiles, and part stoneware tiles from the Cotto d’Este.

External areas

The farmstead is surrounded by more than 43 hectares of land, of which around 42 hectares is ancient olive grove.
