Geographic position

When you think about Tuscany, the first image that comes to mind is the beautiful landscape of Val d’Orcia. Rolling green hills lined with cypress trees leading up to stone farmhouses epitomise the very idea of the Tuscan countryside, an ideal place to live immersed in nature, history, and a human-scale pace of life.

Casale Val d’Orcia is a typical farmhouse, including a large garden with olive trees blending with the beautiful surrounding landscape.

 

This property is in a quiet but not isolated area. It can be accessed from the white road (in excellent condition), which from the paved road leads to the farmhouse after just 500 metres, continuing through the hills as far as the eye can see.

In about 10 minutes, you can reach Campiglia d'Orcia (6 km) and Bagni San Filippo (8 km) and in 15-20 minutes, you can be in Castiglione d'Orcia (13 km), San Quirico d'Orcia (14 km) and Pienza (20 km).

Siena (60 km) can be reached in about one hour. Perugia (80 km) and Grosseto (85 km) in one hour and 20 minutes, respectively.

Moreover, Orbetello, a wonderful town in the Argentario area, is 105 km away and can be reached in one hour and a half.

 

Val d’Orcia is ideal for those who love outdoor sports. Here, you can enjoy excursions, trekking or practice mountain or gravel biking. But you can also explore plenty of charming towns.

Golf enthusiasts can choose between two clubs, both less than one hour away: Castiglion del Bosco club (18 holes, 39 km away) and Golf Club Lamborghini (9 holes, 49 km away).
