Geographic position

Perched on a hill, with panoramic views of Lake Trasimeno, the farmhouse is less than a 10-minute drive from Passignano sul Trasimeno (4 km) and Lake Trasimeno (3 km), and 20 minutes from Perugia (25 km).

We are located in Umbria but very close to the Tuscany border, and in a convenient and central position with respect to some of the major historical centres of the two regions: Castiglione del Lago (22 km) and Cortona (24 km) are less than half an hour away. Montepulciano (40 km), Assisi (50 km) and Arezzo (67 km) are less than an hour away, and Siena (80 km) is about 1 hour away.

The closest international school is in Perugia. The International Montessori Centre is a private school for all ages, from nursery to high school students. It offers a complete curriculum and the teachers are native speakers who work with their students 5 hours a day.

Golf lovers will be delighted to know that there are two major golf clubs nearby:

- Lamborghini Golf Club, a 9-hole golf course (2957 m par 36) is 27 km away and it has 30 hectares of land surrounded by wonderful forests and vineyards, between Panicale and Lake Trasimeno;

- Antognolla Golf Club (18 holes, par 71, 6,112 meters), 28 km away. The Antognolla course is considered one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in Italy. The 18 hole course is known for its long, sloping fairways, beautiful water obstacles and wide, wavy greens. Designed by the renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Junior, the course's intriguing layout makes Antognolla Golf Course exciting and satisfying for golfers of all playing levels.

The nearest airport is Perugia, only 30 km away (half an hour by car), while the airports of Ancona (140 km away) and Florence (143 km away) can be reached in less than an hour and a half.
