Geographic position

Tenuta nel Chianti Valdarno is a large, 170 hectare property (15 of which is fertile vineyard) comprising the main villa, a large building used as accommodation and cellars, two storage buildings and a farmhouse, with storeroom and equipment storage area.

It is situated halfway between Terranuova Bracciolini (5 km) and San Giustino Valdarno (6 km), a stone’s throw from the “way of the Seven Bridges,” a road with most likely Etruscan origins, which was named Cassia Vetus in the Roman era and connects Arezzo and Florence, crossing a number of rivers.

The road remained important during the medieval period as it connected Florence with the surrounding countryside, but also because many pilgrims used it as an alternative to the Franciscan Way, to get to Rome.

The location is almost central in relation to Florence (49 km, 40 minutes’ drive) and Arezzo (25 km, half an hour’s drive), in the picturesque hills of Chianti Valdarno, a well-loved area ideal for those who love rural tourism, nature, gastronomy, excellent wine and traditional Tuscan villages.

The nearest airport is Florence (71 km), which is 50 minutes’ drive away.

Situated on the large private land measuring 170 hectares, there is an important complex of buildings, including the Art Nouveau villa and “The Farm,” with the cellars, whose construction dates back to the end of the 1800s.

The property is completed by a farmhouse, requiring restoration, not far from the ranch with storehouse and equipment storage area, surrounded by a further two hectares of land.
