It is located a 10 minute drive from Gaiole in Chianti (8km), suitable for daily needs, and less than half an hour from Siena (22km).

The location is also convenient with respect to some of the major historical centers of Tuscany- Montepulciano (61km), Arezzo (62km) and Florence (70km) are all about an hour’s drive away.

The closest Golf Club is "Le Miniere”. There is a school field where, in addition to practicing their swing, Club members can compete with real game strategies applicable on 3 holes and nearing completion (by 2022) is a new 9-hole par 35 course, with "championship" characteristics.

The nearest airport is Florence, 71km away (about an hour's drive).

Description of buildings

Il Molino della Torre is truly the quaint farmhouse one would expect to find in Tuscany.

The house, embraced by a row of typical cypress trees and the bright green of the surrounding hills, has an exterior of exposed stone, with two traditional loggias (one on the ground floor and the other on the first floor) overlooking the garden and a characteristic turret, which gives it an even more traditional appearance.

The property consists of three buildings:

Main farmhouse

431m2 net saleable area over three levels, as well as two loggias of 18 and 19m2. Can be divided into two residential units

Ground floor

From the charming loggia on the ground floor, where we also find an ancient cattle trough, you enter a characteristic living room with a fireplace which is connected to the dining area, the kitchen and another living room with first floor access.

Next to the loggia, in addition to a wood-burning oven, the staircase leads to the upper floor, which also makes it independent from the ground floor.
